Dignity of the Messenger
Surah
Yuunus (Jonah)
- 10
‘A-‘uu-zu
Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)
This Chapter is one of those,
first letters of which are “Muqatt’at”. Only Allah Almighty knows the
meanings of such Letters or whom He has told, they know. It is commanded that
these verses, which you have been reciting and listening, are revelations of a
Book, in which, there is no scope of doubt and none is capable to change them.
Whatsoever is mentioned in it; that is Final, Perfect and complete in all
respect. Allah Almighty has given this Book to His Last Messenger, Muhammad
(grace, blessings and peace be on Him), Whom He has sent for the Guidance of
all human beings.
It is commanded: Allah Almighty
appointed a Man among you, Whom He bestowed more virtues and prominent
superiorities for the work of His Prophet-hood, so that He should frighten the
entire people of the world and warn them that the mankind has not been born for
passing his life in the world as untrustworthy like animals. An account of his
entire deeds, which he performed or committed in this world, whether those are
good or bad, will be taken from him after death.
Those people who did not
believe in Allah Almighty and did not abide by the Laws, prescribed by Him,
they will be punished properly and they will suffer from big torment due to
their disobedience. But you should bring the good tidings unto those people who
believed and abode by the Divine Laws, that they will be bestowed with great
rewards against their believing and abiding by the Rules and Regulations
prescribed by God Almighty, and their Lord will grant them very higher
dignities due to running on His Path.
Then God Almighty commands: It
is not surprising if Allah Almighty appoints a Mankind from others as His
Messenger and sends Him unto the people after causing to know Him by inspiring,
so that the Straight Path should be obvious for the human beings. It is,
however a surprising thing if the people do not believe in One God, the Most
High; after hearing the Sayings of the Messenger of Allah Almighty (peace be
upon Him), and by observing unusual influence in the Sayings of the Messenger
(grace, blessings and peace be on Him) and Revelations of Holy Qur’aan,
they begin to say that the Messenger is a manifest wizard, and they may not
understand that affect of charm is never lasting. It is only a deception for
some time, though whoever is influenced by Holy Qur’aan, can never be
changed.
The subject of this verse; in
which the Infidels should meditate, is that; capability of every individual is
quite different from others. If someone is wise, then the other may be dull. If
someone is hardworking; then the other may be lazy and useless. Someone has so
sharp mind that he reaches the bottom of the matter immediately, whereas some
are those who remain thinking only. According to this rule, whoever has been
created with perfect internal and external powers, and if Allah Almighty
appoints him His Messenger, inspires him His Word and makes him A Guide for
other people, then what is surprising in it?
