Lo! This is of the guile of you women. Lo! The guile of you is very great.

Commentary
Kayda – (the
guile), in the common mode of speech, it is called “a trick, stratagem”. The guile
is such a trick, which is thought by someone secretly before time for acquiring
own object, and make a plan as soon as one gets opportunity, and he gets own
desire fulfilled. In Arabic language, it is called “kayda”. Being good
or bad of the kayda (the guile) depends on its aim.
General agent of the King of (Aziz) Egypt examined
the shirt of Joseph (peace be upon him) and saw that the shirt was torn from
behind. Spontaneously he decided that the woman was faulty, whereas Joseph
(peace be upon him) was faultless. He addressed to the woman and said: Such
kinds of the guiles can be of the women as you. They know great tricks for
acquiring their object.
He said to Joseph (peace be
upon him): Mention of this occurrence is useless. This woman is sinner. O woman!
Repent of your sin and ask forgiveness of Him (peace be upon him) to whom you
tried to asperse; because you are entirely blameworthy at guilt in this matter.
