Apparently it
is observed that the Muslims have been scattering. Strangeness has been
increasing among them and no united effort can be from them for their mutual
betterment. It is clear that if an individual possesses any useful thing; but
he disregards, he cannot reap advantage from it. Existence of the medicine
cannot be useful for the patient if he does not take it properly. Believers of
Allah Almighty have “hitting the mark to the point” medicine which is their
“Belief” and by which their every disease – apparent and hidden; can be cured.
But they have forgotten it by putting it in the corner of any shelf. They have
perception of their calamities. They have been observing that they are being
put down at every moment. Schism has been choking them. Greediness and lust
have made them selfish.
Although they
fulfill religious duties, offer congregational prayers; hear exhortations and
accordingly pay alms and charity also, but predominant qualities of Islam are
not being produced into them. No doubt that establishing mutual worship and
obeying the sayings of religious leaders are good matters but notwithstanding
these good acts, none says them good. In a previous verse, it has been
described: “‘In kuntum ‘aaman-tum Billaahi
fa-‘alayHi tawakka-luuu” (If ye have believed in Allah
then put trust in Him).
It is known
that soul of all good deeds is “the Belief”. We praise Allah Almighty but do
not turn our intention unto Him. We say with our tongues: “Allah only is our
God” and pray for our welfare much also, but our hearts do not put trust in
Him. We establish worship but our hearts are not attentive unto Him, though the
Belief is joint in all Muslims, but they have put it behind their back. When
there is no perception of the thing which is common in all, then there is no
worship; but following the traditions and customs only. Strife and quarrel with
one another mutually; is only for the purpose that we are bound of own customs
separately. While the Belief is not in sight then how can they unite and why
should they intend towards the service of the religion.
In the
Believers; only Belief is such a thing which can bring the separated persons
together. It has been explained in the above-mentioned verses: At first seek
your Belief; whether it exists or otherwise. If it exists then you should put
trust in Allah Almighty, live altogether in peace, establish worship at one
place and pray for welfare of all community, then Mercy of Allah Almighty will
descend on you and such prayers will come out from your hearts naturally, by
the means of which, you will gain victory and triumph over your enemies and
hypocrites.
It was
described to the Children of Israel that first step of arrangement is “Belief”,
after that, worship of Allah Almighty and praying from Him. Your next every
step will be wrong till the time your first step is not correct.
