Place of Holy Qur’an
Surah
Yuunus (Jonah)
- 10
‘A-‘uu-zu
Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

Stories of the
people; belonging to former times have not been described in Holy Qur’an;
for rejoicing or historical sciences. The only aim of their description is that
the mankind should draw out from them useful results for himself, and which
errors they committed, he should escape from them. Holy Qur’an teaches
the human being; method of dwelling in the world; in such a way that; he may
gain ease and comfort, not only in the worldly life but also in the life which
will begin after death. When it desires to explain about the principles of any
particular point of view of such life, then for this purpose, behavior of any
of the ancient nations, which; that nation had adopted concerning such
particular aspect, is represented by verses.
For example,
let’s go through the Chapter, which is running, in it; it has been caused to
understand the human being that: Believing in Allah Almighty, having trust in
Him, following the instructions and commands mentioned in His Scripture i.e.
Holy Qur’an, and understanding its Revelations through Deeds and
Sayings of His last Messenger (grace, glory, blessing and peace be upon Him),
are necessary for success of human life in both worlds. If any individual
opposes the above and does not believe, discovers a new way of life according
to own will, then its result will be bad.
For impressing
this matter well on the mind, circumstances of Prophet Noah (peace be upon Him)
and His folk has been described. After that, generally it has been narrated
that the folks; after the folk of Noah (peace be upon Him) were also
disobedient of their Prophets (peace be upon them) as the folk of Noah (peace
be upon Him), and they were seized in the torment due to their disobedience.
Then
circumstances of Prophets Moses and Aaron (peace be upon them) have been
narrated. Pharaoh did not accept Moses and Aaron (peace be upon them), so the
Children of Israel were saved but Pharaoh was drowned along with his Army.
Understandable matter in it; is that the people should believe in Messenger
(peace be upon Him) and Revelations mentioned in Divine Scripture, before
arrival of God’s wrath, because aim of it is to dress own life. If the time of
life is over then Belief is useless and it has no consequence. For causing to
know this point, difference of Pharaoh’s Belief and the Belief of the folk of
Jonah (peace be upon him) has been explained, from which; one’s Belief was
useless, whereas others’ was useful.
