Arrival of happiness

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)

Commentary

Tufanni-duun – (you call me dotard), this word is from taf-niid, which has been derived from fanadaFanada means “weakness of senses”, taf-niid means “to say someone insensible”. It aims: If you do not call me a person whose intellect is impaired by age, an imbecile or a driveller, then you should believe in it that I smell the scent of Joseph.

When the caravan moved from Egypt, Prophet Jacob (peace be upon him) said: I smell the scent of Joseph (peace be upon him). Those, who were hearing; were surprised, because they did not observe any sign about it. Before this, Jacob (peace be upon him) could not know about Joseph (peace be upon him), because it was not Will of Allah Almighty that the Father should know about His son (peace be upon them). He desired to keep Jacob (peace be upon him) under trial for some time, so that he (peace be upon him) should experience shocks of his son’s removal from his sight but along with it, he should not be hopeless from the Mercy of Allah Almighty, and he should be upgraded.

It seems from this verse that Prophets and Messengers (peace be upon them) are also unable to know anything till the time; Allah Almighty does not cause to know them, and there is no cure without causes in this world. Moreover, when Allah Almighty desires, and a suitable time of anything’s happening comes, then Allah Almighty informs about the occurrence in advance to someone at sometimes by His Divine Power, or reveals against the rules; the matter of good news, so that the people may know that “This is a chosen servant of Allah Almighty”.
