Second Section of this Chapter
had begun from here that human being is seeker of goodness and makes haste to
acquire it, and wants that he should be given reward of his every labor
immediately, because he believes unintelligently that harvest of his every
effort will be good certainly in his favor, whereas it can happen also that
result of his labor and effort is dangerous and harmful for him. The fruit of
haste is repentance. He hastens for his loss due to his guilelessness and does
not know it.
It is understood by meditating
in this verse that “why it is not necessary, if a person considers that his act
is good so its result will also be good”. A mankind does not bring any kind of
knowledge along with himself in this world. He has to learn all matters of his
profit and loss after coming here. And these matters are taught to him by the
people around him. But there are some such matters which are right whereas some
are wrong.
That matter which is right and
useful in all respect; and in which there is nothing wrong; can be known only
from his Creator i.e. Allah Almighty and by means of True Prophets (peace be
upon them) sent by Him. And by acting upon their Sayings, advice and guidance,
every individual can acquire success and pleasure of both worlds, otherwise it
will happen always by following own thoughts, traditions and customs that
sometimes you will gain something and sometime you will lose manifolds than it.
Which work is done by the
humankind by his own will and intention, certainly that is for attaining any
such thing which may provide him pleasure and comfort. But he does not know
that in fact which thing will provide him relief and which will be painful, and
nor any mankind tells him “this is good and that is bad”. Only Allah Almighty
knows or His Messenger (grace, blessings and peace be upon Him), whom He has
caused to understand about Good and Evil by revealing Holy Qur’aan unto
Him (grace, blessings and peace be upon Him).
Therefore, it is the first teaching of Holy Qur’aan “Turn
towards Allah Almighty only and obey His Commandments, because there is
goodness for you in it only. If you will see unto yourselves; you will lose
your way, or if you will ask advice or opinion of any other save Holy Qur’aan and
Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, blessings and peace be upon Him), he will
not be able to tell you except; foundation of which is on; conjecture and
guess, and result of that will be not any other but depravity.
