Commentary
Shiqqun –
(great trouble, causing weariness), origin of this word is shaqq.
From it, two words have come out – shiqqun and shuqqun. Mushaqqat is
also from the same, which means “hard labor, toil and pains etc.” Actual
meaning of shiqqun is “to rend, to tear and divide into two
pieces”. Shiqqil-‘an-fus means “to work as much hard that a
man begin to feel himself dog tired, distracted.
Khaylun – (the
horses), this word is used for all kinds of horses, not for only one kind. For
one horse there is a word fars in Arabic language, which is
quite different from the above. Like this, there are words – ‘ubul, nasaa’ and samaa’ etc.
singulars of which do not tally with them.
It is commanded that your Lord
Almighty made the animals obedient for you. If these did not exist, you would
have been entangled in great trouble at the time of shifting your luggage. You
should accept it that Allah Almighty is Full of Pity and Merciful on you. Out
of these beasts of burden, there are horses, mules and asses, which are useful
for riding, carriage and conveyance also. And by them, your dignity and honor
increases twofold. In future, Allah Almighty will produce such sources of
carriage and conveyance, about which you cannot think at this time.
