A sign of inclination

Surah Ra-‘d (The Thunder) - 13

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)

28.  Those who have believed and whose hearts have rest in the Remembrance of Allah. Beware! In the Remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest!

29.  Those who believe and do Right: Joy is for them, and bliss (theirs) journey’s end.
28.  ‘Alla-ziina  ‘aa-manuu  wa  tatma-‘innu  quluu-buhum-  bi-zik-Rillaah.  ‘Alaa  bi-zik-Rillaahi  tatma-‘innul-quluub.

29.  ‘Alla-ziina  ‘aamanuu  wa  ‘amilus-Saalihaati  tuubaa  la-hum  wa  husnu  ma-‘aab.

Commentary

It is commanded that the people who turn towards Allah Almighty and listen to His Word heedfully, are such people who believe in Him, and their hearts have rest and satisfaction after hearing and reciting His Name and Word in Holy Qur’aan, because by hearing the verses of Holy Qur’aan and meditating in its meanings, certainly satisfaction is produced in the hearts. Glad tidings and good end is for such people who knew Allah Almighty and performed such works about which Allah Almighty has said yes.

It is compulsory for the mankind naturally that he should pay attention to any employment and at the time of any confusion; he should seek support of his Creator. But such a condition comes also that he feels no good in any employment. Perplexity of the heart does neither end by seeing friends and nor it satisfies by singing any song or playing any game. Only that person gets actual satisfaction of the heart; who engages himself in thinking about the meanings of Holy Qur’aan and remembers Allah Almighty every time. Confusion cannot stay before such fortunate person.
