PATH OF THOSE WHO ACQUIRED REWARDS
PATH OF THOSE WHO ACQUIRED REWARDS
Verse – 6 of 7, section -1

The path of those whom Thou hast
favoured
|
Lesson
We begged from God to show us the Straight Path in
the lesson “Thee (Alone) we ask for help to show us the Straight Path"
dated Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
Now it has been explained about the Straight Path
in this lesson. Perfect knowledge and all instructions have been revealed in
the Holy Qur’an. God Almighty has sent
down abundant practical patterns also for human beings, so that we may follow them
and go on the right path easily. So we have been instructed that we should beg
from Allah Almighty to run us on the holy foot-prints of His beloved Servants,
who were granted rewards.
Kinds of the persons, who acquired rewards, have
been mentioned in The Verse # 4: 69 (Surah
an-Nisaa’). “Whoso obeyed Allah and The Messenger, they are with those unto
whom Allah hath shown favour, of the Prophets and The Saints and The Martyrs
and The Righteous. And what a best of company are they indeed.”
The Prophets and The Messengers (peace be upon Them) - the Persons, who
were chosen by Allah Almighty to convey His message unto His human creature (mankind).
There is no possibility of mistake in the teachings of any Prophet (peace
be upon Them). Prophet remains innocent and protected from the sins. Many
circumstances of the Prophets (peace be upon Them) have been
explained in the Holy Qur’an. Chieftain
of the nice class of Prophets is the Last Messenger, Muhammad (peace be
upon Them). His all holy Habits and Sayings have been protected in
writing. Our success in this life and deliverance on the Day of Resurrection is
hidden in following the foot-prints of the last holy Prophet (peace be
upon Him).
The Saints – (True, Faithful, Sincere).
Saints (RahimahumUllaah)
come at the second position after Prophets (peace be upon Them). These
people achieve higher degreesby following the teachings of The Prophets (peace
be upon Them), like Abu Bakr Siddique (Radi Allaahu ‘anhu), the First
Caliph of The Last Prophet (peace be upon Him).
The Martyrs. Those honorable individuals, who are influenced
particularly by the teachings of Prophets (peace be upon Them). They
have full belief in the promises of God and future rewards of the good works.
The Righteous. Those servants of God Almighty who try wholeheartedly
to follow the Prophets (peace be upon Them) with all possible
methods. These all great people become example for them who will come after
them.
God Almighty commands us in this verse, “The Straight and Right
Path is the Path, upon which, those persons moved, who have acquired rewards”.
EARNING ANGER OF GOD ALMIGHTY
Verse – 7 of 7, section -1
Gayril-magzuubi
‘alay-him Walaz-zaaalliin
|
Not (the path)
of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray
|
Lesson
In this Chapter; we learnt the supplication, “O
our LORD! Show us the Straight Path, the Path of those whom Thou hast favoured”,
(who have been granted rewards in this world and on the Day of Resurrection, upon
whom Thou descended blessings always). Now, it is commanded in this verse - (beg
also from God), “Not (the Path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who
go astray”.
Magzuub – Earned anger. Those people who earned anger of their CREATOR,
who suffered wrath of God due to their evil deeds and agony descended upon them
because they disobeyed the commands of Allah Almighty, falsified His Prophets
and Messengers (peace be upon Them) and tried to efface the Truth after recognizing,
who did not care the admonition, were aimed of anguish and anger of Allah
Almighty due to their intentionally wicked deeds.
‘Az-zaaalliin – Went Astray, the persons, who adopted the wrong path.
This depravity happens whenever, causes for going on the straight path are
available but someone chooses intentionally the wrong path”. It bears whenever
any individual in entangled in his own wishes, either leaving the morality and
spiritual power or due to greediness of the wealth or lie down in wrong traditions
and bad habits or attending bad company.
Honorable Commentators (Mufassereen e Karaam) say that entire instance of, “Not the path of
those who earn Thine anger” are the Jews, who earned the anger of God Almighty.
Sayings of The Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace
be upon Him) are available also to support it. So, this verse is common to
justify them who, due to their personal evil and wickedness, opposed the truth intentionally
and the wrath of Allah Almighty descended upon them.
Outward instance of “go astray” is for the
Christians who, after believing in a Prophet (peace be upon Him), even then,
went astray and involved in ascribing plurality to God Almighty. In addition to
them, if any other nation goes astray, that will also be included in the list
of those, who ‘went astray’.
We beg from Allah Almighty for blessings to save
us from these kinds of people who earned His anger and who went astray, who
became victims of practical errors and defective faith.
