Stage – 1, Verses – 94 to 96 of 286, Section –

BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Say (unto them): If
the abode of the Hereafter in the providence of Allah is indeed for you alone
and not for others of mankind (as ye pretend), then long for death (for ye
must long for death) if ye are truthful.

Lesson
God Almighty has refuted
some other fidelity of the Children of Israel in this verse. It has
been described earlier that the Children of Israel had stood firm on
their self invented and false faiths. One, out of them was that, only they will
go into the Garden after death and they will be alone heir of
the Paradise. Except them, neither any other nation/individual of the
world will be forgiven and nor will enter in the Paradise.
Allah Almighty has
proved their self invented and false belief with very simple understandable
argument that it was wrong. The Children of Israel have been told by means of
the Last Messenger Muhammad (grace, peace and blessings be upon Him) that, if
they were true in their claim that they were alone heir of the Heaven and they
would enter in the Paradise certainly, then they should show long for death,
because the individual, who believes that after death, he will certainly enter in
the Paradise, he would not have any fear of death. There are a lot of
difficulties and calamities in this world, and in the Paradise, there
are every kind of favors, blessings and facilities. So the person, who claims that
he is an heir of the Paradise, he should try to face that world (the Day of
Resurrection) for good, to leave this world as soon as possible, so that, he
may get a comfortable life for ever after getting rid of these calamities and
difficulties.
This very reason has
been produced for the Children of Israel that if they believe really that the
Paradise is only for them, and except them, none other will enter into it then
they should show to long for death (for they must long for death) if they are
truthful.
95. But
they will never long for it, because of that which their own hands have sent
before them. And Allah is Aware of evildoers.
96.
And thou wilt find them greediest of mankind for life and (greedier) than the
idolaters. (Each) one of them would like to be allowed to live a thousand
years. And to live (a thousand years) would by no means remove him from the
doom. And Allah is Seer of what they do.

96. Wa la-tajidannahum ‘ah-rasan-naasi ‘alaa

sanah. Wa maa huwa bi-muzahzihihii minal-‘azaabi ‘any-yu-‘ammar. WAllaahu

Lesson
In these verses, Allah
Almighty has explained completely about the reality of the Children
of Israel. It means that as they claim that they are the only Heirs of
the Paradise, so they are being commanded to show the long for death. But
they will never be prepared to accept it. They don’t want to intend to leave
luxuries of this world entirely and to face the world Hereafter. There is only
one reason for it that they haven’t faith in the purity of their claim. They
just tell a lie. They know very well about the evil doings and immoralities,
which they have committed in this world, they shall have to face the punishment
for their sins. So they wish that they should get the life as long as possible,
so that they may enjoy luxuries of this world for maximum period and be saved
from the agony of the Doomsday.
Everybody out of them desires
to remain in this world for thousands of the years, so that he may get more
worldly benefits and be saved from agony. But God Almighty warns them that whether
they get more life, they can’t save themselves from the wrath of Allah Almighty
because He knows their every deed.
