Lesson

From the beginning of this Surah, the learned people of the Scripture are being addressed. Particularly the Christians are being invited unto the Last Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and His True Book (Holy Qur’an) again and again. But their behavior remained always as falsifying every true and pious person and opposing them. They reached to such extent that they used to massacre the Prophets of God Almighty (peace be upon them).

On the other hand, the extent of their faith’s weakness is that they consider themselves so much innocent that the Fire of Hell will not touch them. And if they are thrown even in to the Hell, they will remain there only for a few days. It is their innate doubt. This matter does not have any connection with the reality. How can an individual be saved from punishment, who has committed any evil or sin?

Allah Almighty has drawn their attention towards the Day of Resurrection and Its horrible results in this verse. He Commands, “Why are you forgetting that particular Day, when the entire mankind will be assembled? How can there be any doubt about the situation of that Day? Besides the Holy Qur’an, this belief comprises in the parts of all religions also.

On the Day of Resurrection; every person will get full retaliation of his/her deeds. It has been revealed in the Holy Qur’an, “Famany-ya’-mal  misqaala  zar-ratin-  khayrany-yarah.  Wa many-ya’-mal  misqaala  zar-ratin-  sharrany-yarah”.  (And whoso doeth good an atom’s weight will see it then. And whoso doeth ill an atom’s weight will see it then). Nobody can escape from the consequences of good or bad deeds/acts.

Last sentence of the verse is “wa  hum laa  yuzlamuun (and they will not be wronged). Every atom will be reckoned and result of most ordinary work will be in front. If the humankind remembers, he will never think about any kind of wickedness, sin, evil or crime.
