Arguments about Abraham, when the Torah and the Gospel were revealed after Him

LESSON # 367

Arguments about Abraham, when the Torah and the Gospel were revealed after Him

Surah ‘Aali ‘Imraan (The Family of Imran - 3), Stage – 1,
Verses – 65 & 66 of 200, Section – 7 of 20, (Part – 3)
BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim
In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

65.  O people of the Scripture! Why do ye argue about Abraham, when the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed till after him? Have ye then no sense?

66.  Lo! ye are these who argue about that whereof ye have some knowledge: Why then argue ye concerning that whereof ye have no knowledge? And Allah knoweth, and ye know not.
65.  Yaaa-’Ahlal-kitaabi  lima  tuhaaaj-juuna  fiii  ‘Ibraa-hiima  wa  maaa ‘unzilatit-Tawraatu wal-‘Injiilu ‘illaa mim- ba’-dih.  Afalaa ta’-qiluun.

66. Haaa-‘antum  haaa-‘ulaaa-‘i  haajajtum  fiimaa  lakum-  bihii ‘ilmun-  falima  tuhaaaj-juuna  fii-maa  laysa  lakum-  bihii  ‘ilm. WAllaahu  ya’-lamu  wa  ‘antum laa  ta’-lamuun.

Lesson

The Jews and the Christians (both) did claim that they were Muslims and they believed in Oneness of God. They were also claimant of the honor and respect of the Prophet and sincere friend of God, Abraham (peace be upon him). Each of them used to say: Prophet Abraham (peace be upon Him) was upon our religion. Which teachings and faith we have, that was same as of the Prophet Abraham (peace be upon Him). That is to say, as per their sayings; Prophet Abraham (peace be upon Him) was either a Jew or a Christian.

God Almighty responded their false beliefs, “As the Jews and the Christians believe in Torah and Gospel, these Scriptures were revealed hundreds of the years after the time of Prophet Abraham (peace be upon Him). Then; how can they say that Prophet Abraham (peace be upon Him) was either Jew or Christian? In fact, which type of Jews and Christians you are; in those meanings; even Prophet Moses and Jesus (peace be upon them) cannot be called either Jew or Christian, because you are not even completely on the real religion of those grandeur Messengers (peace be upon them). And if you mean that the Divine Law of Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) was nearer to your religions, then; it is wrong also. How did you acquire this knowledge? Because, neither your books have any mention about it, nor God Almighty has informed you and nor you can produce any proof about it. If it is not a folly then what is this? – As your quarrel is in a matter, about which; you have no knowledge.

The things about which you had some knowledge, you quarreled because of them, that is to say; the incidents of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) or glad tidings in respect of the last Messenger, Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him) etc. But; why do you shoot an arrow of conjecture about which you know nothing. Only God Almighty Knows that; which religion of the Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) was, which Divine Law is nearer to that today and who is his real successor?

Muslims are ready every time to cooperate with all communities in goodness and good works

LESSON # 366

Muslims are ready every time to cooperate with all communities in goodness and good works

Surah ‘Aali ‘Imraan (The Family of Imran - 3), Stage – 1,
Verse – 64 of 200, Section – 7 of 20, (Part – 3)
BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim
In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

64.  Say:  O People of the Scripture!   Come to an agreement between us and you: that we shall worship none but Allah, and that we shall ascribe no partner unto Him, and that none of us shall take others for lords beside Allah. And if they turn away, then say: Bear witness that we are they who have surrendered (unto Him).
64.  Qul  yaaa- ‘Ahlal-Kitaabi  ta- ‘aalaw  ‘ilaa  Kalimatin  sawaaa-‘im-  baynaa  wa  baynakum  ‘allaa  na’-budu  ‘illAllaaha  wa  laa  nushrika  biHii  shay-‘anw-wa  laa  yattakhiza  ba’-zunaa  ba’-zan  ‘arbaabam-min-duunIllaah.  Fa-‘in-  ta-wal-law  faquulush-haduu  bi-‘annaa    Muslimuun.

Lesson

The Messenger, Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him) commanded the delegation of Najraan, “’Aslimuu” (Embrace Islam). They said, “’Aslamnaa” (we are Muslims). It is recognized from the dialogue that the Christians also used to claim like Muslims, “We are constant upon Islam”. Likewise, whenever the People of the Scripture were invited for believing in the Unity of the Deity, they used to say, “We believe in God also”. In this verse, it has been signified to their claim, “O People of the Scripture! You and we are unanimous in the opinion on original faith of Unity (Oneness of God). This faith can make all of us one league, provided you and we should not change these claims. The only requirement is that as you claim with tongue that you believe in One God, the truth of your claim should be proved also by IMPLEMENTING. Believe in His Oneness and Ascribe no partner unto Him really. Surrender yourselves unto Him, Worship none but God, and that none of you should take others for lords beside Allah. None should be made His son or daughter. Do not include your will between the things, which have been fixed by Him lawful and unlawful. Moreover, you should accept His commands and make not alteration into them.

But, in spite of believing in it, if they reject the Oneness of God, make someone partner with Allah Almighty and turn away, then O Muslims! Say: Bear witness O the People of the Scripture that we are they who are steadfast on Islam, who have surrendered unto God Almighty and who are His obedient.

This verse manifests basic policy of Islam that the Muslims are ready to cooperate with every group in the matters of goodness and good works. If there is any form of non-cooperation with any community, that is only a form of sin, rebellion and insurrection. Islam invites also those People of the Scripture who used to oppose it in the beginning, resisted from teaching and preaching about the mutual belief of the Oneness of God to come to an agreement between the both parties.

Allah Almighty is Aware of (who are) the corrupters

LESSON # 365

Allah Almighty is Aware of (who are) the corrupters

Surah ‘Aali ‘Imraan (The Family of Imran - 3), Stage – 1,
Verses – 62 & 63 of 200, Section – 6 of 20, (Part – 3)
BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim
In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

62.  Lo! This verily is the true narrative. There is no God save Allah. And lo! Allah, He verily is the Mighty, the Wise.
63.  And if they turn away, then lo! Allah is Aware of (who are) the corrupters.
62.  ‘Inna  haazaa  lahuwal-qasa-sul-haqq.  Wa  maa  min  ‘ilaa-hin  ’illAllaah.  Wa  ‘innAllaaha  la-Huwal-‘Aziizul-Hakiim.

63. ‘Fa-‘in-ta-wal-law  fa-‘innAllaaha  ‘Aliimum- bil-mufsidiin.

Lesson

‘Al-qasa-sul-haqq  (the true narratives), the word qasas is plural of qissah which means an event, incident, the news, a story. Haqq means pure, true and hundred percent correct. ‘Al-qasa-sul-haqq aims correct stories as well as true narrative too. The last meanings are advisable presumed here.

Mufsidiin  (the corrupters) its singular is Mufsid, that is to say; the individual, who produces confusion, scattering and depravity. He becomes cause of badness and quarrels in spite of peace and betterment.

Invitation of Mubahila was given to the Christians of Najraan on the points, which were described in the Holy Qur’an about Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him). That is the true mention and God Almighty is pure from all kinds of plurality and the relationship of father (God) and son (Jesus) (I seek refuge in Allah). Neither He is father of anyone, and nor anyone is His son, moreover, He is One and Alone. He is Creator of the entire creatures. None is worthy of worship but He. The relationship between God Almighty and human being is - The Worshipped and the slave.

Allah Almighty verily is the Mighty and the Wise. He will determine the true to the honest, sincere, faithful and genuine, and the liar will determine to the false, untrue and the not genuine. He described (full of wisdom) resolution of Mubahila to His graceful Messenger, Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) for his fidelity, reply of which could not be prepared by the Christians. And they returned duly reconciled. He, the Almighty and the Overcoming God will punish severely to the disbelievers and quarrelsome people.

Allah Almighty explained that if these people neither listen to the arguments, nor agree for Mubahila, then know it that they are Stubborn and persisting. They do not intend to understand and accept the truth. They do not want to bow before the commands of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). Their main aim is to spread dissension and mischief, and to produce the facts in a false form. Then lo! Allah is Aware of those entire persons, who are the corrupters and He will punish all of them.

We have learnt from this lesson that the facts should not be ignored, when those are proved. The commands of the Messenger of God Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) should be accepted wholeheartedly while they show the Straight Path. Every person should consider these commands as true and act upon them.

Curse of God upon those who lie

LESSON # 364

Curse of God upon those who lie

Surah ‘Aali ‘Imraan (The Family of Imran - 3), Stage – 1,
Verse – 61 of 200, Section – 6 of 20, (Part – 3)
BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim
In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

61.  And whoso disputeth with thee concerning him, after the knowledge which hath come unto thee, say (unto him): Come! We will summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, then we will pray humbly (to our Lord) and (solemnly) invoke the curse of Allah upon those who lie.

Lesson

The Christians of Syria (Najraan), who came to argue and debate with the Messenger Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), presented their entire false beliefs. God Almighty replied them through Holy Qur’an and put to silence them.

Even after listening to the clear proofs, those Christians of Najraan did not believe in it and remained firm on their false faith. Allah Almighty commanded His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) to establish a Mubahila with them (both groups would have to get together with their families and pray with pleading that whosoever out of us is liar, invocation would be prayed for his curse and wrath of God). At its first step, this situation of Mubahila will clarify that which the group has really believed in his inner truth and at which extent. Hearing the invitation of Mubahila, the group from Syria (the Christians of Najraan) requested for respite so that they may answer after consultation. When they got together for consultation, then; wise people of them said: You have understood in your hearts that Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) is really a Messenger of God Almighty. He has described clear and decisive words about Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him), and you know also that Allah Almighty had promised to send His Messenger from the children of Ishmael, and it is possible that He (Muhammad) (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) is the same Messenger. To set up the Mubahila with any Messenger, can result in favor of any nation that none of them (either younger or elder) could be saved from destruction and torment.

After consulting, the Syrians (Najraani Christians) attended the court of last Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). They saw that the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) was coming out with Hassan and Hussain (his daughter’s sons), Fatima (his daughter and Ali (his son in law) (May Allah be pleased with Them).

Looking upon these luminous faces, their superior Clergyman said: I am looking such pure faces whose prayer can shake the mountains from their places. Do not ruin yourselves by fixing the Mubahila with them. At last, they decided not to compete and returned after reconciling. It has been mentioned in the Sayings that the Messenger of God Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) said, “If those people would have done Mubahila, then it would rained such fire upon them that Allah Almighty would subvert the Syria (Najraan).

The likeness of Jesus with God is as the likeness of Adam

LESSON # 363

The likeness of Jesus with God is as the likeness of Adam

Surah ‘Aali ‘Imraan (The Family of Imran - 3), Stage – 1,
Verses – 58 to 60 of 200, Section – 6 of 20, (Part – 3)
BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim
In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

58.  This (which) We recite unto thee is a Revelation and the wise reminder.

59.  Lo! the likeness of Jesus with Allah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, then He said unto him: Be! and he is.

60.  (This is) the truth from thy Lord (O Muhammad), so be not thou of those who waver.
58.  Zaalika  Nat-luuhu  ‘alayka  minal-‘Aayaati  waz-Zikril-Hakiim.

59. ‘Inna  masala  ‘Iisaa  ‘indAllaahi  ka-masali  ‘Aadam.  Khalaqahuu  min-  turaabin-  summa  Qaala  lahuu  ‘KUN’  fayakuun.

60. ‘Al-Haqqu  mir-Rabbika  falaa  takum-minal-mumtariin.

Lesson

God Almighty described the entire realities about Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) to the Messenger Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and commanded: If the Christians quarrel even now with You (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) regarding Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) then should not take any care for them. As the denier of the sunlight is called a blind likewise; the denier of the realities is a wretched and unfortunate”.

The people of the Scripture used to quarrel with the Messenger of God Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) in the matter that Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) was not servant of Allah Almighty but was His son. They used to say: If he (peace be upon him) is not son of God Almighty then you (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) should tell us, whose son He (peace be upon him) is”? In response to their question; Allah Almighty said: Prophet Adam (peace be upon Him) did have neither father and nor mother. Therefore, if Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) had not father then what is there to be wonder? Having not father by anyone, does not mean that he is son of God. Otherwise, like this, the degree of Prophet Adam (peace be upon Him) should be higher than Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) and he (peace be upon him) would have more right to be called as son of God.

It is the reality that God Almighty created Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) from clay as well He created Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) from the same. Likeness of both of them is the same (peace be upon them). Neither Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) was son of God and nor Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him). After that, God Almighty commanded His last Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him): Whatever We described about “Messiah” (peace be upon him), that entire is quite right. There is no scope of doubt in it. You (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) should never be from the people who are doubtful.

By exemplifying Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) with Prophet Adam (peace be upon him), God Almighty has proved such clear evidence that there is no choice of argument remained further in this matter. The Father of entire human beings; who (Adam; peace be upon Him) was born in heaven without mother and father, if he (peace be upon Him) is neither God and nor son of God, then how can that one (peace be upon him) be son of God, who is born from the womb of a mother in this world?

Payment of wages to believers in full (their earning)

LESSON # 362

Payment of wages to believers in full (their earning)

Surah ‘Aali ‘Imraan (The Family of Imran - 3), Stage – 1,
Verse – 57 of 200, Section – 6 of 20, (Part – 3)
BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim
In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

57.  And as for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full. And Allah loveth not wrongdoers.
57.  Wa  ‘ammallaziina  ‘aama-nuu  wa  ‘amilus-saalihaati  fayu-wafiihim  ‘ujuurahum.  WAllaahu  laa  yuhibbuz-zaalimiin.

Lesson

It was discussed in the previous verses: God Almighty will destroy the confederacies of disbeliever children of Israel. He will save His Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) from their causing troubles with His most dignified and best management. He will disgrace and abase the Infidels, punish them severely in this world and the Hereafter. In this verse, it has been described about the wages and remuneration of the Believers and Pious persons.

We believe that when the children of Israel strengthened their impure schemes, then Allah Almighty picked the Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) up alive to the heavens. Many Sayings of the Last Messenger (peace be upon him) give clues that when the world will be filled with infidelity and evils near the Hereafter, then Jesus (peace be upon him) will be descent by God Almighty as a most faithful helper of Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). Allah Almighty will show the world: How much good relationships have the former Prophets (peace be upon them) with His beloved and last Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him)? Jesus (peace be upon him) will slaughter The Liar (Dajjaal) and kill his followers (the Jews) searching them here and there. No Jew will remain living. Until that the trees and the stones will inform: Kill the Jew who is standing behind us. Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) will break the Crucifix. He (peace be upon him) will lead the entire world unto the path of Belief after reforming the false beliefs of the Christians. Then only God’s true religion Islam will remain at the end of all dissensions.

We knew from the previous lesson that Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) has been lifted alive to the heaven and the faith of the children of Israel is false that He (peace be upon him) was slain. There is no known reason to disbelieve in it, if it is perused with deep thought. If Jesus (peace be upon him) can be born without father, if he can fashion out of clay the likeness of a bird, and he breathes into it and it is a bird, by Allah’s leave and if he can heal the person who was born blind, and the leper, and if he can raise the dead by God’s leave, then how can it be far to pick his body up by Allah’s leave? As the Angels (peace be upon them) exist in the heavens, likewise Jesus (peace be upon him) can live there also for thousands of the years.

It is not wisdom to sit in a state of ease and comfort waiting for arrival of Jesus Messiah (peace be upon him). It is our (all Muslims’) duty that we should try our best to raise the Word of Allah Almighty and keep performing the duties every time rested upon us by Islam.

Heavy chastisement of disbelievers in the world and the Hereafter

LESSON # 361

Heavy chastisement of disbelievers in the world and the Hereafter

Surah ‘Aali ‘Imraan (The Family of Imran - 3), Stage – 1,
Verses – 55 & 56 of 200, Section – 6 of 20, (Part – 3)
BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim
In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

55.  (And remember) when Allah said: O Jesus! Lo! I am gathering thee and causing thee to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing thee of those who disbelieve and am setting those who follow thee above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then unto Me ye will (all) return, so I shall judge between you as to that wherein ye used to differ.

56.  As for those who disbelieve I shall   chastise them with a heavy chastisement in the world and the Hereafter; and they will have no helpers.
55.  ‘Iz  qaalAllaahu  yaa-‘Iisaaa  ’Innii  muta-waffiika  wa  raafi-‘uka  ‘i-layya  wa  mutahhi-ruka  minallaziina  kafaruu  wa  jaa-‘ilullaziinat-taba-‘uuka  faw-qal-laziina  kafaruuu  ‘ilaa    Yawmil-Qiyaamah.  Summa  ‘ilayya  marji-‘ukum  fa-‘ahkumu  bay-nakum  fii-maa  kuntum  fiihi  takh-talifuun.

56. Fa-‘ammallaziina  kafaruu    fa-‘u-‘azzibuhum  ‘azaaban-  shadii-dan-fiddunyaa  wal-‘Aakhirati,  wa  maa  lahum-min-naasiriin.

Lesson

When The king, whose ears were poisoned by the disbelievers (children of Israel) (as we have learnt in the previous lesson), sent the persons to arrest the Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him), so that he might be punished and crucified as much admonitory that other people take it warning and give up following him (peace be upon him).

Then God Almighty satisfied the Prophet Messiah (peace be upon him) and said, “I shall ruin the plans and schemes of those people. They are thinking to kill you and destroy the purpose of My Guidance to the people from your birth. If they did so, I (Allah Almighty) will snatch My Blessing from them. I shall complete your life in this world and purpose of your (peace be upon him) birth in all respect”.

“It will be done so, that I shall take you up to Sky safe and sound. They wish to crucify you (peace be upon him), We shall bring you to heaven. They desire to disgrace you and prevent the people from following you. But We shall keep you out of their reach and pick you up quite pure and blameless from their indecent environment. In spite of it that you are disgraced and the people are hindered from following you due to fear, We shall keep overcoming your followers and believers upon the disbelievers until the Day of Resurrection”.

“Then in the Hereafter, when the entire human beings will return to Me, I shall judge between them as to that wherein they used to differ. As for those who disbelieve I shall chastise them with a heavy chastisement in the Hereafter; and they will have no helpers. And the Believers will be given full remuneration of their good deeds”.

Certainly, Allah Almighty does not like the unjust people.

Helpers of Jesus (peace be upon him) in the Cause of God Almighty

LESSON # 360

Helpers of Jesus (peace be upon him) in the Cause of God Almighty

Surah ‘Aali ‘Imraan (The Family of Imran - 3), Stage – 1,
Verses – 52 to 54 of 200, Section – 5 of 20, (Part – 3)
BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim
In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

52.  But when Jesus became conscious of their disbelief, he said: Who will be my helpers in the cause of Allah? The disciples said: We will be Allah’s helpers. We believe in Allah, and bear thou witness that we have surrendered (unto Him).

53.  Our Lord! We believe in that which Thou hast revealed and we follow him whom Thou hast sent, so enroll us among those who witness (to the truth).

54.  And they (the disbelievers) schemed, and Allah schemed (against them), and Allah is the best of schemers.
52.  Falammaaa  ‘ahassa  ‘Iisaa  min-humul-Kufra  qaala  man ‘Ansaariii  ’ilAllaah.  Qaalal-Hawaa-riyyuuna  nahnu  ‘Ansaa-rUllaah.  ‘Aamannaa  BIllaah.  Wash-had  bi-‘annaa  Muslimuun.

53. Rabbanaaa  ‘aamannaa  bi-maa  ‘anzalTa  wattaba’-nar-Rasuula  fak-tubnaa  ma-‘ash-Shaahidiin.

54. Wa  makaruu  wa  makarAllaah.  WAllaahu  Khayrul-maa-kiriin.

Lesson

‘al-Hawaa-riyyuuna  (it is plural of Hawaari which means companion, friend, disciple, helper etc.), the philosophers of the religion have different view about the ‘al-Hawaa-riyyuun. General opinion about it is that at first two persons out of the children of Israel believed in Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him). They were washer-men. Due to washing the clothes, they were called Hawaarii. Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) described them, “Come and learn from me (peace be upon him), how to purify the hearts”. They said, “We are standing in the service”. Therefore, they were entitled Hawaarii.

When the children of Israel disbelieved in reply to the invitation and preaching of Prophet Jesus Messiah (peace be upon him) and he (peace be upon him) knew that those people would never accept his religion. But they were thinking to give him pain and trouble, then he announced, “Who will be my helpers in the Cause of Allah”? Those ‘al-Hawaa-riyyuun (the Companions) answered to the prophet Jesus (peace be upon him), “We will be your helpers in the religion of Allah. We believe in God, and bear Thou O Jesus our witness that we have surrendered for the Cause of Allah. We shall follow the Messenger (peace be upon him) of God Almighty. Our Lord! We believe in that which You have revealed and we follow him whom You have sent, so enroll us among those who witness (to the truth).

Makarun – (scheme, plan, gait), the children of Israel began different kinds of conspiracies and secret plans against Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him). To such extent; they poisoned the ears of then existing King, that this person (Jesus) was a mutineer of the government and desired to change Torah (Scripture of Allah Almighty) (God forbid). The King ordered to arrest Jesus Christ (peace be upon him). At the other hand; Allah Almighty schemed Himself, which will be discussed in the next lesson. Certainly, Allah Almighty is the Best of schemers. None can break it.

Jesus Messiah (peace be upon Him) is a Sign from our Lord, so we should keep our duty to one God and obey Him

LESSON # 359

Jesus Messiah (peace be upon Him) is a Sign from our Lord, so we should keep our duty to one God and obey Him

Surah ‘Aali ‘Imraan (The Family of Imran - 3), Stage – 1,
Verses – 50 & 51 of 200, Section – 5 of 20, (Part – 3)
BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

Lesson

Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) commanded his nation, the children of Israel: I have come and confirm Torah which was revealed upon Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) before me. That was revealed from God Almighty and that is a true Scripture. Keeping its ordinary principles and commands as it is, I shall make some changes in the instructions by the order of Allah Almighty, which will be suitable according to the current times. As there was some severity in a few instructions, that will be lifted now. The things, which were made forbidden as punishment due to your wicked deeds, I shall make their use lawful for you. You can use them without any hesitation, risk and fear. And I have come towards you with a sign of Prophet-hood and Messenger-hood from your Lord. He has bestowed on me many miracles. So, keep your duty to God Almighty in accord with the guidelines, illustrated by me and follow me”.

It is easily understood here that sobriety, abstinence and piety are hidden in the obedience of the Messenger (peace be upon him). Any Prophet (peace be upon him) never says that, what is not from God Almighty. He never delivers any self-invented command. Therefore, how it is possible that without obedience of the Messenger (peace be upon him), the willingness and pleasure of Allah Almighty can be acquired.

Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) described that Allah Almighty is my Lord; as well as yours’ too. My relationship with Him is not as a son and father. I am His servant and He is my God (worshipped). Therefore, as I perform for His devotion, you should also worship Him. Allah Almighty be praised upon His favors. Obedience of His (God’s) Revelations and imitating me, (peace be upon him) is the Straight Path.

This verse is also in continuity of the previous verses. Miraculous birth of Prophet Jesus Messiah (peace be upon him), his teachings and miracles are being described continuously. Aim from this entire discussion is to produce the perception of God fearing, obedience of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him) and worship of True and One God into the human beings. The mankind should learn to bow only before Allah Almighty; remaining apart from the worship of other creatures. This is the Straight Path.
